Continental Benelux, headquartered in Diegem, manages the distribution, sales and supply of tires and  mobility solutions for the Benelux market. The company combines an international dimension with a family mentality and interest in human capital.

In the context of internal growth, they are looking for a charismatic Head of Marketing.

Function

In this challenging role you will take up total responsibility of all marketing activities for the Benelux organization.

  • Together with your dedicated team (17) you will be responsible for designing a complete marketing & customer centricity approach in a challenging and saturated market.
  • Priority lies in driving Marketing Intelligence more than ever in order to come to a clear decision making for market opportunities, market penetration and market development.
  • Developing and growing your marketing team providing excellent coaching,  support and tools.
  • Proposing the brands and range of products to be sold in the market and translating the central multi-brand strategy to a local one including a clear pricing policy.
  • Defining a general policy regarding PR, Communications and Promotions with a focus on traditional marketing and digitalisation.
  • You work mainly on a B2B approach whilst also taking on the B2C customer experience.
  • As the Head Of Marketing you will become an important pillar within the organization and you will set up cross-functional relationships.
  • You are part of the Management Team and report to the General Manager Benelux and the Head of Strategy EMEA.

Profile

  • Above all you show true leadership. You are a real people manager and you push your team to a higher level whilst you engage them on a regular basis.
  • You have a minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing where you gained management experience and you can bring in digital knowledge.
  • An analytical mindset which implies you are data driven and able to develop practical recommendations in order to trigger strategic decisions.
  • Mastering a tactical strategic marketing approach with a quality driven executing mind together with a result driven eagerness and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Customer centricity lies in your second nature and you are not afraid of transforming approaches according to the changing needs.
  • Swift decision making with good persuasive communication skills.
  • You have experience in a distribution or replacement market environment.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch, French & English.
